Position Summary:

Cocktail servers take orders and serve beverage orders, make recommendations, and process payments while providing excellent customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner and acknowledge all celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special notes that are specified.
Ability to interact with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
Coordinate with bar staff to ensure all availability of beverages.
Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures.
Possess complete food and beverage knowledge of all products that are being served.
Follow all proper cash/payment car procedures.
The ability to up-sell and offer food and beverage suggestions to guests.
Maintaining compliance with applicable health code, dress code, and other serving standards.
Thoroughly check ID to ensure guests are of proper drinking age.
All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stopping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lifts up to 50 Ibs.
Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.

Skills / Experience:

Must at least be 21+ years of age.
At least two (2) years ’of previous cocktail serving experience.
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
Actively contributes as a team player by being helpful/assisting when needed.
Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safe minded manner.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
Must have a Food Handler card up to date.
Must have a TAM card up to date.
