Position Summary:
Cocktail servers take orders and serve beverage orders, make recommendations, and process payments while providing excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a positive and friendly manner and acknowledge all celebrations, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special notes that are specified.
- Ability to interact with guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all food and beverage items.
- Coordinate with bar staff to ensure all availability of beverages.
- Enter all orders accurately into the POS system and follow proper cash/payment card procedures.
- Possess complete food and beverage knowledge of all products that are being served.
- Follow all proper cash/payment car procedures.
- The ability to up-sell and offer food and beverage suggestions to guests.
- Maintaining compliance with applicable health code, dress code, and other serving standards.
- Thoroughly check ID to ensure guests are of proper drinking age.
- All other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stopping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lifts up to 50 Ibs.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
Skills / Experience:
- Must at least be 21+ years of age.
- At least two (2) years ’of previous cocktail serving experience.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Actively contributes as a team player by being helpful/assisting when needed.
- Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safe minded manner.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays when required.
- Must have a Food Handler card up to date.
- Must have a TAM card up to date.
